"Hi Jenny & Kenny, Thanks for the beautiful kayaking birthday trip! We really enjoyed spending the day on the river with the two of you. We have done many kayak trips over the years and we both thought the silver river was one of the best trips ever.  Thanks again! ..."

Kayak Excursions in Davenport

Kayaking near Davenport is a brilliant way to spend time with Mother Nature and our kayak tour with Kenny as a family was definitely the best part of our holiday!

Kayak excursions near Davenport: Davenport is a city in Polk County, Florida. In 1838 the US Military set up Fort Davenport during the Second Seminole War. In fact the settlement was first known as Horse Creek.

Located near I-4 and US 27 this allows for easy access to many creeks and rivers worth exploring. Our Gentle River / Family Fun guided kayak tours will introduce you to a nice 3 hour kayak tour of the lazy Wekiva River and if you're interested in doing a little Adventurous Nature exploring Silver River is flanked by state park and famous for its abundant wildlife. Rocks Springs Run which is also close to Davenport offers some awesome scenery and a great place to take a swim if you'd like.

St Johns River / Blue Springs
is part of our Gentle River / Family Fun guided kayak tours but for a longer tour check out the St Johns River / Blue Springs II tour. Both are great places for a kayak tour and in the spring run you can watch the fish and turtles swim right under your kayak!

If you are looking to do some birdwatching while in Davenport check out the Birders Paradise guided kayak tours.

Winter Manatee Tours are available during late winter and early spring and those tours are a great way to view the Florida Manatees during your visit to Davenport.
