"We had such a great time today learning to kayak with Kenny. He's a great teacher and was so interesting to talk with. Gosh, he knows so much about Florida wildlife. It was fun to hear all the interesting facts about the animals we found. Much thanks to him!..."

Mt Dora Kayak Tours | Outdoor Adventures Lake County, Florida

Central Florida Nature Adventures kayak tour is exactly what we wanted. Kenny showed us things we never would have seen, it is relaxing and the kids love it too.

Kayaking in Mount Dora: Settled in the mid-1800s, Mt. Dora offers a quaint historic feel with several of the original homes being transformed into beautiful Bed and Breakfasts. The Mount Dora Art Festival, Bicycle Festival, Sailing Regatta and the Spring Antique Show are all hosted by the City of Mount Dora.

Close to Mt. Dora are several areas worth exploring by kayak. The Dora Canal, Wekiva River I and the St Johns/Blue Springs I tour are all part of our Gentle River / Family Fun guided kayak tours. If you want a bit of adventure while staying in the Mount Dora area choose Rock Springs Run, Blackwater Lake or Silver River. These are all part of our Adventurous Nature Tours. For some Florida whitewater take a trip on Extreme Emerald Cut it's just a 30 minute ride outside of Mt. Dora.

Visiting the Mount Dora area and looking to do some Birding? Check out our Birders Paradise Tours or to kayak with the Manatees go for a Winter Manatee Tour. All are just around the corner from Mount Dora and great places to experience a guided nature tour by kayak.
